Wolves bid farewell to Kieran “Pumba” Smith

Saturday saw the last game for one of Edinburgh wolves long standing players.  Running back Kieran Smith departs the team to head to the USA to persue his career.

Coach Don Edmonson had these words to say about Kieran

“I have coached Kieran since he was 14 with five fire youth 5 man. He has always been totally committed and focused on football. He was selected for GB Lions juniors and attended GB senior camp. He is a great footballer, with toughness and tenacity, everything that we want at the Wolves and he will be sorely missed. We wish him all the best as he starts on a new venture in the USA.

Personally he is a friend and teammate mate and its been a pleasure to have been involved with him on and off the field.”

The whole team at the Wolves wish him well with his new adventure and if any team in the USA wish to pick him up just remember he was trained in Scotland.
