Welcome to our new weekly pre game preview where we hope to get you up to speed on the Wolves upcoming games. This week we take a look at the Wolves father’s day fixture against the Roughnecks.
Both teams come into this game off defeats from league leading Clyde Valley Blackhawks, Aberdeen having been beaten 46-0 on Sunday. Aberdeen are yet to win a game this season but they are beginning to show signs of improvement and have some experienced skill position players on their roster, Darren Henderson in particular is one to watch.
This will be the first time that the Wolves have faced the Roughnecks and as such the Wolves cannot afford to take this game lightly, and have been working hard the past week in preparation for this game as they aim to get the W and get the season back on track.
Offensive Co-Ordinator Dan Cameron offered his thoughts on the game
“I’m really looking forward to the game the players have been really focused and tuned in, they know this is a potential banana skin game and are coming in with the correct attitude, the offensive line have really impressed in this last week and I’m hoping for a good performance from them as a collective. Hopefully we will get some sunshine on Sunday and we will be able to replicate our performance from the West Coast Trojans game and give the fans the W they deserve.”
The game kicks off on Sunday at 2:30pm tickets are available on the door.
