This is it the big one, on Saturday the Wolves will take on the Merseyside Nighthawks for the Division 1 Northern Conference Championship.
This is the second time that the two sides have met in a final. Last year at the same venue the two sides had a thrilling shoot out that was the talk of the British Football community.
Unfortunately for the Wolves they were not successful on the day and ended up losing in overtime.
Edinburgh also hosted Merseyside at Meadowbank, with the scousers handing the Wolves there only loss of the season winning 42-20.
Since that point Edinburgh have been on a dominant run averaging 40 points a game and only allowing 8 points against.
Quarterback Jamie Morrison has been in scintillating form earning himself an invitation to the Great Britain trials.
However the Wolves know that they are going up against a truly dominant team. Merseyside are currently on a 21-0 unbeaten run, having not lost a game in two seasons.
This year the Nighthawks high powered offence averaged 46 points a game with the defence only giving up 14 points.
When the final rolls around it will have been 6 weeks since the Nighthawks last game. Merseyside earning their place in the final after Gateshead forfeited, although there is no doubt the Nighthawks would have easily dispatched with the Senators.
The final should be great game and the wolves are pleased to announce that they will be putting on a bus to take supporters down and back up on the Saturday. Please contact us through our Facebook page to find out more information.
Alternatively if you cannot make the game be sure to follow the Wolves twitter account for updates.
The final kicks off at 4pm and is being held at The John Charles Stadium in Leeds.
