BAFA Quarter Final Preview

Tomorrow the Wolves will face the Nottingham Caesars at Peffermill Playing Fields in the BAFA NFC1 Quarter final.

Caesars last game was a loss to Midlands powerhouse Sandwell Steelers and their last win (other than default) was a demolition of Britball’s legendary Birmingham Bulls by a score of 34-14

The Caesars have qualified in the #8 spot (as did the Wolves in 2014) and so have to face the 6 hour journey to #1 Wolves on August 7th

With a 6-4 win loss record the Caesars are 3rd in the MFC1 and have scored 181 points while they have conceded 202

With the Wolves listed as heavy favourites this game could be described as a “banana skin” but rest assured the Wolves know only to well that every game now is a final and its win or go home.

An 11th win for the Wolves would see them play the winner of the game between #4 Kent Exiles and #5 Doncaster Mustangs, current form has the Exiles making the daunting trip up from Kent on the 14th of August in the NFC Semi Final game.

Kick off is 2.30 tomorrow and their is no entry fee, come along and wear red, shout loud and support your Edinburgh Wolves
