The
Edinburgh Wolves currently provide competitive full-kitted
football for players aged 14-18, and have a number of
developmental squads for flag football and other age
groups through their schools program.
Those
aged 14-16 play for the Edinburgh Wolves Junior team
and take part in the Scottish Conference of the British
Junior league, playing a number of teams from around
the country. The current rules at this age group are
for a 5-a-side version of the game, but this is currently
under review for the 2009 season with an aim to expand
numbers.
The
team is currently running a number of 'taster' sessions
in schools, and have run after-school clubs at particular
schools for the 14-16 age group. We intend to make
competitive flag football available for ages 11-14
in the near future.

Those
players aged 16-18 play for the Edinburgh Wolves-supported
Forth
Valley Fusion Youth team. The team was set up
in 2008 in a joint effort between the Wolves and the
Fife
Fire Junior teams, to ensure that a strong Youth
team could flourish on the East Coast of Scotland.
Graduates from both the Edinburgh Wolves Junior team
and that of the Fife Fire go on to represent the Fusion.
More information on the team is available on their
website, at www.forthvalleyfootball.co.uk
